my local odeon is showing apocalipto in forign.
i mean, what's the point of that? i really wanted to see this moovie
What is stopping you? Do you speak Mayan? No, therefore the category of the film is irrelevant.
I never heard of this movie but if it is in an other language than English i am sure there are sub titles shown on the screen. So blind people are in a disadvantage unfortunately. Maybe if you go with somebody sighted and they can read the subtitles to you.
Good luck.
There are no subtitles it's take it as it comes or don't bother.
Man spare a thought for the other people, trying to watch the film with some numpty constantly yapping in their ear,it's ignorant and selfish.
Dan what language is it in? Heck I watch Spanish movies all the time. Your friend, Hope
Goblin you're wrong, it does have subtitles. Eternity, here in the US in some theatres, there are people whose job is to describe or read whatever appears on the screen. The microphone they speak into is connected to earphones that a blind person uses. These theatres are found mostly in rich communities, so we poor folk are outa luck. I know you live in the UK, but I guess I just wanted to let you know about that. I don't know why though. lol
They let me use some headphones like that when my Dad took us to the Kenedy Space Center in Florida! Walter Cronkite narated it!
